does anybody make galleries?

Hey does anybody still make galleries? I mean with all the hosted galleries doesnt seem like there alot of people making galleries anymore what gives?

I've noticed that if you're usin' a popular sponsor that also has free hosted galleries, it can be very tough to get listed w/ the TGPs cuz they use them all.

The sponsors make quite a bit more, but IMO I think they're forgetting about their loyal affiliates.

Do I sound like a bitter gallery submitter? LOL

The reason we offer hosted galleries to our affiliates is becuase they wanted them. I agree that it is harder for a gallery submitter to use them as the tgp owners use them allready with their code in them.
As a sponsor we get more sales because of hosted galleries however the cost of getting those sales is greater because the bandwidth usage is huge..

We are working on a server-based tool that builds galleries based on simple templates on a manual picture-by-picture basis or simply by auto-generating; e.g. splitting up 50 pictures in a folder into 3 galleries. It can also add recips based on defined recip-groups.

I haven´t found a tool for this before. And yes, we have tried TGSW and many others.

If you know a good tool that can inspire, please let me know.

The difference is that ATO´s gallerymaker generates a gallery on the fly for use on the CJ2/TGP-site in more or less random picture-order. Not a permanent version that can be saved on the harddrive and used for gallery-submission.

The script that we are building generates a permanent gallery based on a template, but still with the option to make some thumbs larger than others and customize the design.
