How many of you here submit galleries?

If so do you submit by hand? or use software? shed some light on this subject for other viewers maybe u can suggest something of value...

I happen to use GASS which is a hand submission tool. Though I have to say I hate submitting galleries, its just so tedious

I both hand submit & use software.

After submitting by hand for so long, I've found my main T/MGPs that I like & feel I get the most valuable traffic from. Most of those I have developed some sorta relationship with, weather it be partner status or whatever. Out of courtesy to them, I hand submit to those T/MGPs. Plus, in my experiences, they seem to treat your submission better & give ya a better ranking. After I made & submitted those galleries by hand, I use Russian Submitter for the rest.

Another thing that has helped me w/ gallery submissions is knowing when my main T/MGPs update. I usually submit late night knowing that my galleries will be up by the next day & usually w/ a higher ranking. Also, I surf the ones I like or the ones I'd like to be listed at & see what the reviewers like to list. You can't please everyone, but after a while you can find a universal layout/design that your faves will accept almost always while still making some decent loot.

It's also a good idea to figure out how much you can get away with. I know that sounds like a shady thing to do, but when designing galleries, I keep the general gallery submit rules in mind & take it from there. I have, however, been banned from quite a few T/MGPs, but how I see it it's a small price to pay to get a good working system down.
